Performance - Typically booked for two 45-minute sets or three 30-minute sets to fill an afternoon. We can also book 1 hour or up to three 45-minute sets. Transportation, lodging and meal fees may apply.

Full group - Five members and an orchestra of instruments.

The Gourd Trio
- a simplified group of three musicians for the smaller budget or shorter performance.

One person
- 'The Gourd Guy' - for instrument demos and gourd lecture (see below) - I can present to your Garden Club, Civic Associations, Schools, Library, Summer camp, etc. This is a 60 minute sesson. Typically school sessions are 40 minutes.

Live Soundtrack for Silent Films - RIGO has adapted a live soundtrack to accompany the film 'Nanook of the North'. This 1922 silent film by Robert J. Flaherty is considered to be the first feature length documentary. 79 minutes (Requires 1-2 months advance notice.)

Workshops -

Instrument Making - customized to fit your age group and allotted time. Instruments range from simple gourd shaker necklaces, water drums, rain sticks, corked shakers to beaded rattles. Typically they last from 1 to 3 hours. Gourds and materials can be supplied from us with an added fee. Email us for more detailed information.

Gourd Lecture - covering - History of Gourds, Gourd Types, Gourd Gardening, Gourd Musical Instruments, Agritourism, plus a show and tell from our traveling museum collection of dried gourds, seeds, crafts, instruments and gourd books and newsletters. Hundreds of kids and adults have been entertained while learning about gourds.

Extras -

Gourd Petting Zoo - Dried Gourds for kids and adults to handle. We often allow 'Hands On' playing of our less delicate gourd musical instruments.

Gourd Info Signs - 2' x 3' educational signs depicting gourd types, gourd gardening, gourd crafts and gourd musical instruments.
